Special and high-precision AKE bearings

In the AKE Skalica production plant we produce special and precision AKE bearings especially for the aviation industry. They differ from standard bearings in their inner construction, the size and shape of the bearing surfaces, the precision of the design and the quality of the material. Special and precision bearings from the AKE Skalica production plant are manufactured from materials such as steel 52100, AMS6440, AMS6444, HSS M50, and HSS M50 Nil.

Design groups of special and precision AKE bearings

Ball bearings

Ball bearings are one of the most widely used types of rolling bearings. The bearings are capable of high rotational speeds, making them suitable for aircraft applications.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Different designs of roller bearings are dissimilar from each other in the arrangement of the guide rings. AKE roller bearings are most commonly used in the aviation industry on the main shaft of turboprop engines.

Hybrid bearings

Hybrid bearings up to ABEC 9 precision level push the boundaries of bearing performance, durability and reliability for applications in aviation industry and space technologies in particular.

All bearings from the AKE Skalica production plant are manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of the AS9100 standard and meet all requirements of the quality management system intended for organisations in aviation industry, space technologies and defence.
