Special and high-precision AKE bearings

In the AKE Skalica production plant we produce special and precision AKE bearings especially for the aerospace industry.

For the production of these bearings we use the highest quality materials and the most modern methods of metal machining. Currently we apply shot peening method to improve the mechanical properties of metals and composites.

The materials used for bearing production include 52100 bearing steels, M50 and M50 Nil high-speed steels specified to AMS6440, AMS6444 standards, and 440C stainless steels for ring production. We use today's highest quality materials, such as Ketron Peek, for cage manufacturing.

Design groups of special and precision AKE bearings

Ball bearings

Ball bearings are one of the most widely used types of rolling bearings. The bearings are capable of high rotational speeds, making them suitable for aircraft applications.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Different designs of roller bearings are dissimilar from each other in the arrangement of the guide rings. AKE roller bearings are most commonly used in the aviation industry on the main shaft of turboprop engines.

Hybrid bearings

Hybrid bearings up to ABEC 9 precision level push the boundaries of bearing performance, durability and reliability for applications in aviation industry and space technologies in particular.

Certifications

All bearings from the AKE Skalica production plant are manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of the AS9100 standard and meet all requirements of the quality management system intended for organisations in aviation industry, space technologies and defence.

Precision

In the AKE Skalica production plant we produce special and high-precision bearings up to the ABEC 9 precision level.
