For more than 70 years, the AKE Skalica manufacturing plant has been producing high-precision and special roller and ball bearings for the aircraft industry. A systematic approach, the use of new technologies and innovations in materials have made it possible to create bearings with extremely smooth surfaces and precise tolerances.  

Achieving AS 9100 certification has also contributed to our competence. We have become a fully-fledged and competitive manufacturing plant for a wide range of customers, as evidenced by our being referenced in aviation on almost every continent.

The importance of bearings in the aircraft industry

The technological development of our plant also has a great impact on the aircraft industry, because not every bearing plant or bearing brand offers high quality products.  

In the aircraft industry, bearings are a key component of many systems such as engines, gearboxes, landing gear and rotating mechanisms. That's why technological innovation and stable bearing quality are an absolute priority for us, which translates directly into the safety, reliability and efficiency of aircraft systems. 

Over the last period, the demand for products in the aircraft industry has increased significantly. We therefore want to retain the benefits we bring, namely flexible technical and structural design of the bearings as well as the delivery of the goods themselves.

We owe all of our employees for their achievement , but especially our technical specialists, who are capitalizing on the experience of the previous and current generations.
